Argument Over Food Ends With Arrests in Cos Cob


An argument over food between a pair of men ended with their arrests on Dec. 27 in Cos Cob.

According to a Greenwich Police report, the pair had the dispute at Splash Car Wash, 73 Post Rd., which turned physical shortly before 4:30 p.m. Dec. 27.

The men were identified as Edwin G. Beltran, 35, of Smith Street, and Claudio De Jesus Calle, 32, of Madision Avenue, both of Port Chester.

Both were charged with second-degree breach of peace. Calle also was charged with third-degree assault. The men were released after they each posted a $100 bond. They were scheduled to appear Jan. 3 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
