Attorney Says Port Chester Violated Village Law in Cutting Paid Firefighters

PORT CHESTER, NY - An attorney is saying that Port Chester’s decision to get rid of all paid firefighters violates New York State Village Law.
An article at lohud.com said attorney Richard Corenthal, who is representing the firefighters, said the village eliminated the paid firefighters without a resolution and a public referendum.
