Could Coney's Lot Become a 5-Story Apartment Complex?

Plans for the vacant parking lot across from The Waterfront at Port Chester, will be presented before the Board of Trustees in January.

G & S Port Chester LLC, an entity of G&S Investors, is proposing their plans for a mixed-use development on the site of “Coney’s Lot,” a vacant parking lot across from The Waterfront at Port Chester, according to Westfair Online.

Their plan is to build a 79-unit apartment building with 14,000 square feet of lower level retail stores.

The company recently chose a Toronto-based commercial real estate firm, Avison Young, to serve as the exclusive leasing agent and property manager for the Waterfront at Port Chester.

According to the Village’s website, G & S submitted an amended plan on Dec. 5, 2015. The original proposal included a plans to construct a 5-story, 90,000 square foot mixed use building called “Waterfront Place” consisting of four floors of 79 rental dwelling units. These units include 7 studios, 56 one- bedroom, and 16 two-bedroom and nearly 12,00 square feet of ground floor retail.
