The car landed atop a pile of dirt and rocks.

Port Chester Police are investigating a Sunday afternoon car crash on Boston Post Road where the car apparently was driven across an open field next to the Il Sogno Ristorante before coming to rest atop a large pile of rocks and dirt.

At least four Port Chester Police vehicles were on the scene, along with a Port Chester Rye Brook ambulance about 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Il Sogno is at 316 Boston Post Rd.,
