OPEN AUDITIONS:
"SHOWSTOPPERS"
Youth Performance Company                                      (Children ages 8 - 18)

 Friday, September 10, 2010     6:00-9:00                                Saturday, September 11, 2010  4:00-8:00

Performers should come prepared to sing 16 bars of a song of their choosing.  They will also be taught a simple dance combination. Please wear clothing and shoes easy to move in. If you have dance shoes bring them as well.

If cast in this production there is a $350 participation fee.

This original Musical Variety Production will focus on students auditioning for their school musical. Along the lines of "A Chorus Line," our production will focus on getting to know about the students who are auditioning for their school play. There are lots of great character parts (Diva, Shy Girl, Rocker, Jock, Brainiac, Director,etc). We have incorporated great music into the show, such as songs from Pippin, Mamma Mia, Peter Pan, "13" The Musical, Next to Normal, Jersey Boys, Movin Out, Spelling Bee, Damn Yankees, and Hair. 

We will take some of these songs and add them to our SHOWSTOPPERS Repertoire to use when we perform at Charity Benefits and Community Events

throughout the 2010-2011 SHOWSTOPPER's Season.

Anyone with a passion for performing is invited to audition and become a member of our SHOWSTOPPERS Family!

 Rehearsals will begin on Friday, September 24, 2010          Rehearsals will be held on Friday evenings from 6:00-  9:00 and Sundays from 12:00-3:00.                                          Mandatory Tech rehearsals will be held on Thursday,  November 18  & Friday November 19 from 5:30-9:00.          The show is scheduled for Saturday, November 20,  2010 at 7:00pm, (tentatively) at Port Chester Middle  School
