PORT CHESTER, NY — A Port Chester landmark has new owners, but the mission of caring is expected to remain on campus.

The Rye Presbyterian Church announced that it has acquired the property and facilities of the former All Souls Parish (The Presbyterian Church of Port Chester), which held its last worship service as a congregation in December of last year.

The campus, located at 55 Parkway Drive in Port Chester, will be renamed the All Souls Campus of Rye Presbyterian Church, as a nod to the legacy of the former congregation.

“We’ve been working on this possibility for a year and a half. Rye Presbyterian Church is excited to expand its mission and ministry in cooperation with our other community partners in the Port Chester area," John Miller, a co-pastor at Rye Presbyterian Church said in a statement announcing the agreement. "We look forward to continuing the many years of community service and involvement that both Rye Presbyterian Church and the former All Souls Parish have been involved in."

The leadership at Rye Presbyterian Church said they will spend the next few months soliciting input from the Port Chester neighbors to develop a plan for how to best use the All Souls Campus to help serve the community.
