HS Students Collect Food, Pajamas for Those In Need

Port Chester High School Anthony Foust mentoring group collected and delivered food prior to Thanksgiving, and collected pajamas and books for delivery to shelters in Westchester County.

Forty families throughout Port Chester enjoyed a larger spread at Thanksgiving because of a high school group's food collection efforts.

The Port Chester High School Anthony Foust mentoring group, named in memory of a former student who embodied the values of goodwill and service, collected and delivered food prior to the holiday.

And again at the annual Tamarack Tower Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning, the students along with 21st Century ASPIRE Program, the Tamarack Tower Foundation and the County Coach Bus Co. collected 15 bags worth of pajamas and children’s books for the “Stuff a Bus" challenge. Bags were placed on a coach bus for delivery to shelters in Westchester County.
