Latimer: No Upside to Tunnel from LI to Sound Shore
The state senator feels Westchester residents would be impacted more than Long Island would benefit.

A proposal for a tunnel connecting Long Island to Westchester County has drawn criticism from state Sen. George Latimer, D-Rye.
The senator told MyRye.com that residents of Westchester County would see a downside to the reality of the tunnel, regardless of any benefit to residents of Long Island.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo wants to spend $5 million on a study to find out whether or not such an endeavor would be feasible, according to an article in the Journal News.
