Man's Wallet Stolen From Car in Port Chester

Police: $1,400 in cash, money orders reported taken on Mill St.

A Bronx man reported that his wallet, continaing $1,400 worth of cash and money orders, was stolen from his car on Mill Street, according to Port Chester police.

The 44-year-old New York City resident said he discovered the theft at 5:43 a.m. on Friday. While the man said he had locked his car, he found that he had left one of the passenger windows open.

The car was note damaged.

Taken: A wallet with $300 cash, a $500 money order and a $600 money order, police said.
