Port Chester High School Students Spread Anti-Bullying Message

Special programs this morning look to get students involved in solving problem faced by schools throughout the nation.

An anti-bullying campaign at Port Chester High School culminates this morning with assemblies that look at the complicated issue facing schools across the nation.

For the past three weeks, Port Chester High School has run a student-centered anti-bullying effort that has included flyers and banners throughout the school, as well as special messages announced during the day. The effort has been organized and operated by students who are on a special advisory board that is part of the 21st Century/ASPIRE After School Program.

At the assemblies, Franco Rosado of Deep Sea Innertainment was to lead a program of dance, stories and words. Students will each receive an anti-bullying wristband in exchange for completing an anonymous survey about bullying in Port Chester.
