Port Chester Middle School Principal Patrick Swift Named Administrator of the Year
He received the honor from the Westchester County School Music Association.

Port Chester Middle School Principal Patrick Swift has been named “Administrator of the Year” by the Westchester County School Music Association (WCSMA), in acknowledgement of his strong support of music education in the Port Chester Schools.
Swift was nominated by members of Port Chester’s Music Department, who wrote letters of recommendation to the WCSMA Executive Board, according to school officials. He was recognized at the Association’s annual year-end dinner, held on Monday, June 15.
In his recommendation letter, Music Department Chairman Ken Kraut wrote, “We’re very blessed to have a Principal who actively supports us in every way, who recognizes and celebrates the importance of our program, and who treats every individual, student or teacher, as part of an extended family.”
