Port Chester Nightclub Workers Attacked At Gunpoint

No one injured, nothing taken.

Workers getting ready for the opening of a new Port Chester nightclub were attacked at gunpoint early Thursday morning by four masked-men on Main Street, according to Port Chester police.

Although workers were pushed around and threatened, police said no one was injured and nothing was taken in the incident at , 114 Main St.

Police said the crew at Glamour was staining the floors at the nightclub when they were approached by four men around 1:30 a.m. Thursday. The workers told police the men wore rags over their faces and one of them pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at them.

Although the attackers pushed their way into the club, police said the men backed off and left the area.

The new club is located at the long-vacant space formerly belonging to Fantasy.

Glamour Nightclub "is going to be the best nightclub at Port Chester," according to the club's Facebook page, which features photos of a revamped exterior and an empty interior.

The club's owner, Ingrid Martinez of White Plains, applied for a liquor license on Jan. 24, according to the New York State Liquor Authority.
