Port Chester-Rye Schools Name New Thomas Edison Elementary Principal
Roncagliolo was an assistant principal at Jefferson Elementary School in New Rochelle and Warring Elementary School in Poughkeepsie.

PORT CHESTER, NY — Thomas Edison Elementary School officially has a new principal.
The Port Chester-Rye Union Free School District Board of Education appointed Paul Roncagliolo as the new principal at the school at a special meeting on September 1.
Roncagliolo most recently served as assistant principal at Jefferson Elementary School in New Rochelle and Warring Elementary School in Poughkeepsie, where he was in charge of the day-to-day operations of school instructional programs, supported the implementation of multiple programs and led professional development sessions for staff. Prior to that, he worked as a Spanish teacher, an elementary summer school supervisor and a middle school principal intern in New Jersey. During his educational career, he has held numerous leadership positions and has been instrumental in providing an effective learning environment for students.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting with a minor in Spanish from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in educational supervision from Mercy College. Roncagliolo also earned several professional certifications, including school building leader.
