Port Chester Trustees Have Concerns About Proposed Development

The plan is to build 34 units of affordable senior housing in the village.

PORT CHESTER, NY — Affordable senior housing being built in Port Chester is raising concerns from the village’s trustees. The development of 34 units, located at 25 South Regent St. is still under review by the village planning commission.

One village trustee — Gene Cecerelli — said traffic in that area is a nightmare and he doesn’t want to see it get worse until there’s the infrastructure to support, the Journal News reported. The builder is Port Chester-based Lazz Development.
