From Chef Maria Reina: We have a few spots open for this weeks' Adult Classes at Tarry Market:

Wednesday February 1, 11:30 - 1:30 pm: Easy Sauté Techniques
The French translation of Sauté is "to jump," referring to what the ingredients do in the pan, using a little bit of fat, and high heat. Taking that a step further we will prepare a delicious “saltimbocca” dish, which means to “jump in the mouth.”  Sautéing is an essential method for every cook, and one that is very easy to accomplish. Along with our saltimbocca recipe we will also prepare several other dishes using this technique.

Sunday February 5, 12:30 - 2:30: Demystifying Fish

Fresh water, salt water, round, flat, cephalopod, bi-valve – so many types, so little time! Chef Maria will help you find your way through the seaweed and create a couple of delicious seafood dishes. In this class we will explore a tasty and hearty seafood stew, a simple pan sautéed filet and a yummy pasta dish. Just for good measure Chef Maria will show you how a fish is filleted!
