The first thing Eileen Santiago plans to do after ending her 15-year run as Thomas A. Edison school principal: take a vacation. And down the line? Santiago says she plans to write a book based on her experiences at the Port Chester school. With a warm send-off from teachers, students and parents this month, those memories should be sharp in her mind. Check out photos from Santiago's farewell party, which was attended by former and current students, PTA members, local politicians including Assemblyman George Latimer, and many of the teachers who worked with Santiago over the years.
