Thanksgiving 2015: What's Open, What's Closed in Port Chester
See what Port Chester town offices are closed on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.

Thanksgiving Day is here. It’s also the start of the holiday season.
This year, like last year, we only have 28 days between Thanksgiving and Christmas so you’ll have to cram in your shopping in a four-week period.
Thanksgiving will be observed on Thursday, Nov. 26 this year. Below we have a list of early Wednesday closings, what’s open and closed on the Thanksgiving holiday, as well as town offices that are also closed on Friday, Nov. 27.
What’s closed:
- Port Chester public schools and offices
- Village Hall and offices
- State and federal government offices
- Courts
- Port Chester-Rye Brook Library
- Post offices
- Most banks
- Sanitation (Thursday’s household & recycling will be collected on Wednesday, Friday is unchanged)
What’s open:
Check with individual restaurants and retailers
Metro-North Railroad will have additional trains running into and out of Grand Central Terminal before and after the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Click below for train times:
