Two Men Beaten, Robbed on South Main Street in Port Chester

They're attacked by a group of four young men as they entered building.

A Port Chester man and an Elmsford man were attacked, beaten and robbed as they entered a building on South Main Street early Wednesday in Port Chester, according to Port Chester police.

Although the victims, one 19 and the other 23, were beaten, police said the refused medical attention.

Police received a report of a disturbance on South Main Street at about 2:42 a.m. and when they arrived they found the two victims, one with a cut on the face. They men told police they had been attacked in the hallway of the building where one of the two men lives.

Police said the pair was attacked by four young men, who fled the area after the attack. A cell phone was taken from the 23-year-old.

The two victims told police that they tried to fight off their attackers. No arrests have been made yet in connection with this incident.
