Cheers to 38 Years!  This afternoon the Village of Port Chester celebrated the career of Carol Nielsen, Director of our Senior Center, in honor of her upcoming retirement on August 20th.  The village extends its gratitude and appreciation for the privilege it has had to have Carol represent it and for her dedication to our senior residents for as long as she has by implementing programming, sponsoring events, helping find medical care, and ensuring the delivery of over 500,000 meals to seniors and homebound residentsover the span of her career (yes, we did the math!).  Although we know that Carol will not be too far away from Village Hall, her daily presence will be sorely missed by staff and residents alike. Thank you, Carol, for all you have done for the betterment of this program and to the benefit of the Village of Port Chester, our residents, and Westchester County.   We will miss you!
