DECLARATION OF LOCAL STATE OF EMERGENCY
A State of Emergency is hereby declared in the Village of Port Chester for the period beginning on Saturday August 21, 2021, at 9:00 PM and ending on Monday August 23, 2021, at 4:00 a.m.
The state of emergency has been declared due to damaging winds, heavy rain, and excessive storm surges and flooding produced by a category 1 hurricane (Hurricane Henri). As the Village Manager, I exercise the authority given me under Section 24 of the New York Executive Law, Article 2-B, to preserve the public safety and hereby render all required and available assistance vital to the security, well-being, and health of the residents of the Village.
I hereby direct all departments of the Village of Port Chester to take whatever steps necessary to protect life and property, public infrastructure and provide such emergency assistance deemed necessary.
Local emergency orders may be made hereafter as situations warrant.

EMERGENCY ORDER WITH REGARD TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
I, Stuart L. Rabin, Village Manager of the Village of Port Chester, in accordance with a proclamation of a State of Emergency issued on August 21, 2021, and pursuant to Section 24 of the State Executive Law, hereby order that all vehicular traffic, except emergency vehicles and travel by essential personnel, is prohibited on all streets and roads in the Village of Port Chester.
This order is effective 1:00 p.m. August 22, 2021 and shall remain in effect until 4:00 a.m. August 23, 2021.

EMERGENCY ORDER WITH REGARD TO VILLAGE PARKS
I, Stuart L. Rabin, Village Manager of the Village of Port Chester, in accordance with a proclamation of a State of Emergency issued on August 21, 2021, and pursuant to Section 24 of the State Executive Law, hereby order that all municipal parks located within the Village of Port Chester shall be closed and all recreational activity, gathering, or other use of such property by the public shall be prohibited.
This order is effective 9:00 p.m. August 21, 2021 and shall remain in effect until 4:00 a.m. August 23, 2021.

ORDEN DE EMERGENCIA CON RESPECTO A LOS PARQUES DEL PUEBLO
Yo, Stuart L.
