PORT JEFFERSON, NY - From Port Jefferson School District: Along with a successful season, Earl L. Vandermeulen High School girls basketball team players Hailey Hearney, Lola Idir, Abigail Rolfe and Evelyn Walker were recognized for their All-League honors.
Hailey was a two-time award winner, scoring 7.3 points per game, with a 4.5 average per game, 36 steals and 18 three-point field goals. Lola was honored with both All-League and All-Conference honors for her record of 15.6 points per game, a 2.2 average per game, 36 steals and 37 three-point field goals. Abigail received 7.9 points per game and 9.3 rebounds per game and Evelyn scored 6.7 points per game and 25 three-point field goals.
