Long Island Reads Sutton at Comsewogue Public Library
Come join us at Comsewogue Public Library as we participate in the 2013 Long Island Reads Program.
Each April, during National Library Week, book lovers in Nassau and Suffolk Counties come together to read the same book, participate in discussions of the selection and enjoy related events in their public libraries. This year’s Long Island Read is a fiction piece by J.R. Moehringer titled Sutton, which discusses the life of a successful bank robber and Brooklyn native Willie Sutton.
The Comsewogue Public Library will be hosting a program titled Brooklyn: The History of a Great Borough led by Marty Adler who will be sharing a plethora of knowledge on the setting of Sutton. Comsewogue cardholders are invited to bring one guest. This program will be held on Friday,
April 5th at 2 PM. Registration is currently in progress.
