Sequestration '13

Sequestration....It's the School Busses all over again!

Back in the days when my boys were in grade school, EVERYTIME an increase in the budget was up for a vote, the "line" was always "Well, if the budget is voted down, we'll have to start with cutting the busses"....Really?...No, they didn't HAVE to cut the busses, it was (and still is) a threat that would hit the people (parents) like a rock!...Having to arrange to transport the kids to school could seriously knock a family's schedule totally outta whack...If the tide continued against the budget, the sports would be next, then the arts...FIND the WASTE and CUT IT!....

So as we sit on the eve of the Sequestration of '13 (didn't we do this last year too?...) they are threatening to "cut the busses"....First responders, air traffic controllers, day care, senior meals, teachers...Really?....NO, (remember the busses?)...FIND the WASTE and CUT IT!....STOP threatening us with OUR MONEY!...I work, I pay taxes and I just don't have anymore to give...I am teetering on the edge of going from being a taxpayer to being a benefits taker...and I am NOT alone...Matter of fact there are a whole lot of us on the teeter-totter and if our government doesn't stop threatening us and seriously work on finding the waste (geez, just Google "government waste" can't it start there?...) and redistributing the tax income the scales will tip and it just might be impossible to get back....

And now our President, who spent the past several weeks as Chicken Little "the sky is falling, the sky is falling" (and it's ALL the Republicans fault!) has the gall to turn around now and say "oh, we can make it thru this..it won't be too bad"....THIS is our leader?...

Kinda sad, huh?....

Wake up Amercia!...."Pay" Attention instead of increased taxes!
