Comsewogue School Budget Passes

Comsewogue School District residents approved the district’s $83.31 million proposed budget Tuesday by a margin of 1,012-325.

The budget calls for a 2.7 percent increase in spending over the current year and carries a 2.4 percent tax levy increase, which is within the state's tax cap.

In a six-way race, incumbents Alexandra Gordon and James Sanchez, as well as newcomer Richard Rennard won seats on the Comsewogue Board of Education.
