Earl L. Vandermeulen High School Students Selected For NYSCAME All-County Festival

PORT JEFFERSON, NY - From the Port Jefferson School District via Syntax: Port Jefferson School District’s Earl L. Vandermeulen High School students Ibuki Iwasaki, Jillian Lawler, Cezanne Lojeski and David Rotunno were selected to participate in the New York State Council of Administrators for Music Education All- County Music Festival. The three-day event culminates with a concert to be held at Hauppauge High School on Nov. 17.

The musically-talented teens were chosen to perform with other students from across Suffolk County on a competitive basis with their New York State School Music Association scores as the primary criteria along with teacher recommendations.

NYSCAME works to promote high standards of administrative leadership and improve music education programs in Suffolk County among other endeavors.
