This class blends improv techniques - for tapping spontaneity, looking at events through different perspectives, and creative confidence-building - with exercises for looking at our life experiences through a storytelling lens, and techniques that transform an experience into a compelling story to be told out loud.In this class series, we will: Use "story mining" exercises to help discover the story in our life experiences Learn the 5-beat story structure and apply it&nbsp; Practice techniques that fully engage a listener and make a story truly memorable Discuss how to use story to make presentations and professional talks more powerful, meaningful and memorable Share at least 2 drafts of the story with the class Discuss how to pitch stories to shows and podcasts
