Tellabration! 2011

Tellabration is an idea first put forth by storyteller J.G. "Paw-paw" Pinkerton in 1987. He dreamed of storytellers and listeners gathering in communities all over the nation--all over the world--to share stories...folktales, tales of myths and personal stories, stories from literature, tall tales, short tales, inspirational tales.  Stories not read aloud, but told directly to the listeners by individual storytellers. Members of our local Storytelling group: Long Island Storytelling Network (LISN) (pronounced "listen") will be performing at Port Jefferson Library. This event is free and open to all. Port Jefferson library card holders are encouraged to pre-register. Seating may be limited. For ages 12 to adult (100+)
