Drifted eels this morning at one of local points outside of Port Jefferson and scored with a Big Bass. Several Blues and a Fluke were also caught on eels. Jigging with diamond jiggs soon after the sunrise, produced more Blues and some keeper Bass. Then trolled a local Port Jefferson beach with Tube and Worm rigs and scored with another keeper bass. Get a moving tide (preferably closer to the full and new moon tides) with lower light conditions (early or later in the day) and work an attractive area (points, shoreline with bait, drop offs, boulders, inlets, jetties) thoroughly and you to might catch some quality bass.
