Lights, sound, microphones, transparent face shields…Earl L. Vandermeulen High School students were excited to be back on stage with the fall drama production “The Face on the Barroom Floor.” Directed by Tony Butera, the weekend performances in the high school auditorium were met with much applause for the insightful production inspired by the poem by Hugh Antoine d’Arcy.

The district’s Director of Music and Fine Arts Dr. Michael Caravello commended the efforts and final results of all the students involved, noting that together with Butera, they worked tirelessly on this production, expanding their confidence and exploring their talents in another creative masterpiece.
