Rotary Club recognizes middle school student.

For her hard work as a studious student, Port Jefferson Middle School seventh-grader Kyra Sommerstad was recognized by the Rotary Club of Port Jefferson as its Most Motivated Student for the month of March.

During its March 10 meeting, the Rotary presented Sommerstad with a certificate as her father, Ray, Principal Antonio Santana and teacher Phil Giannusa stood by her side.
