Long Island Man Found Guilty Of Sexually Abusing Child
BREAKING: He began having sexual relations with a girl when she was 7 years old, authorities say.
RIVERHEAD, NY – A Suffolk County jury deliberated for an hour Thursday before finding a 58-year-old man guilty of sexually abusing a child over a four-year period.
Frantz Jean Charles, of Coram, was convicted of first degree course of sexual conduct against a child, Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said.
Charles, who was arrested in August 2016, had sexual relations with a female juvenile between 2008 and 2012, starting when the girl was 7 years old, Spota said.

Charles was convicted after a five day trial in Riverhead. He faces between five to 25 years in prison when he is sentenced by State Supreme Court Justice John Toomey on June 12.
