Police Seek Public's Help to Find Port Jeff Station Bank Robber
Surveillance photos released of man who police say robbed a bank last month.
Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who robbed a Port Jefferson Station bank last month.
According to police, the man pictured above entered the TD Bank located 86 Nesconset Highway at about 2:15 p.m. on June 30 and handed the teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the man’s demands and he fled the scene on foot.
The man was described as white, in his 30s, approximately 6-foot tall with a thin build, short brown hair and a goatee. He was wearing a long-sleeved flannel shirt, jeans, dark-colored shoes, baseball hat and sunglasses.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
