Police Seeking Hit-And-Run Driver Who Struck Disabled Person In Port Jeff Station

The driver was seen wearing a wristband from the Terryville Fire Department carnival. Reward offered for info leading to an arrest.

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a person who fled the scene of a crash after striking a disabled person in Port Jefferson Station last month.

According to police, a man driving an older model white Honda Accord with shiny chrome rims and white New York license plates struck and injured a person while pulling out of the parking lot at 47 Jayne Boulevard on July 29 at about 10:45 p.m.

The driver is described as a thin white male, mid-20s, wearing glasses and accompanied by a white female. The driver was seen wearing a wristband from the Terryville Fire Department carnival. He fled the scene driving south on Jayne Boulevard. His vehicle may have damage to the driver side front bumper. A picture of a similar vehicle can be seen above,
