Port Jeff Middle Goes on 36th Annual Frost Valley Trip
Port Jefferson sixth-graders enjoyed a trip to Frost Valley where they participated in a number of team building activities.

Port Jefferson Middle School sixth-graders continued their school’s 36-year tradition by venturing to Frost Valley from Nov. 5-7.
During the adventure, which was supervised by science teacher Peter Burawa, Principal Antonio Santana, and several other teachers and staff members, students had the opportunity to participate in a number of activities and classes.
The students learned about orienteering, reptiles, birds of prey and fresh water ecology, took a historical tour of the mansion and enjoyed a hike through the mountains and watershed. Students also participated in teamwork and project adventure activities.
