Port Jeff Science Olympiad Team Earns Medals

High school team takes home four medals and places 16th out of 50 teams.

The Earl L. Vandermeulen High School Science Olympiad team showed that they have what it takes to win. During the New York State Science Olympiad Competition, held at Le Moyne College in Syracuse on March 13 and 14, the team took home four medals and placed 16th out of 50 teams.

The team secured a spot at states after placing fifth at the Suffolk County Regional Division C Science Olympiad competition. The Port Jefferson School District extends its congratulations to the team and to the following medal winners:
