Port Jefferson Celebrates Royal Homecoming
Community and school floats took part in a parade down Main Street last weekend.

Royal spirit was in the air this past weekend when the 2021 homecoming festivities brought students, faculty, administrators, board of education members and community residents to the parade down Main Street with floats from each grade level at Earl L. Vandermeulen High School, Port Jefferson Middle School student-musicians and an Edna Louise Spear Elementary School float.

The fun continued at a celebration in front of the high school and a recognition ceremony of senior football payers and cheerleaders before the afternoon football game against Bayport-Blue Point.
