From Port Jefferson Schools: Students and teachers filled the halls of Edna Louise Spear Elementary School to cheer on and offer best wishes to Earl L. Vandermeulen High School’s Class of 2018 during its senior walk.
The inspirational event served to encourage the kindergarten through fifth-grader students to continue to be motivated by a commitment to their academic studies, knowing where their dedication to school will lead them. The younger students made congratulatory signs and offered handshakes and high-fives as they watched the seniors connect with former teachers, visit classrooms and reminisce about their days at their alma mater.
