Remembering Port Jefferson's 9/11 Fallen

Among the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terror attacks, there were two local residents between Port Jefferson and Mount Sinai.

PORT JEFFERSON, NY — Saturday marks the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks that claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 people.

Among those killed were two local residents or natives. They, along with the other victims, will never be forgotten:

  • Frank J. Bonomo of Port Jefferson
  • Edward J. Perrotta of Mount Sinai
