Spreading Holiday Magic in Port Jefferson

Members of the Earl L. Vandermeulen Student Organization collected toys for 60 local families in need this holiday season.

Just in time for the holidays, Earl L. Vandermeulen Student Organization members donated bags of toys to 60 local families in need through their Holiday Magic campaign.

In an effort to provide holiday joy to as many children as possible, the Port Jefferson students expanded their drive this year to the entire student body. The outpouring of support, said SO President Carly Cherches was unbelievable.

“We had over 60 staff and students volunteer by picking a child to buy toys for,” she said.
