Striped Bass Port Jeff Harbor Style

Caught many Bass within the last two weeks. All fish caught in the shallows of Port Jefferson Harbor on umbrella rigs.  Water temps are rising and the fishing is really going to open up within the next 2 weeks. Reports of great numbers of Fluke and good numbers of Porgies starting to be caught.  Fluke being caught in local waters on jigs tipped with spearing.  This should improve greatly over the next 2-3 weeks. Lets go fishing!!!!
