Summertime Fun @ Comsewogue Public Library!

Summertime at the Comsewogue Public Library = Fun for Children & Families! Stop in soon to register your children for the Summer Reading Club and so much more! Read on for details.

Summer is nearly here and that means it’s time for our Summer Reading Clubs to begin! In fact, registration is now in progress. Stop in soon to register your child for this year’s club and encourage them to Dig Into Reading! Children, birth to entering grade 1, are invited to enter our Little Bookworms Reading Club. Children, entering grades 2-5, are invited to enter our Dynamite Diggers Reading Club. All you need is a Comsewogue Library card. Detailed information for each club is available from our homepage.

There are many more reasons to visit CPL this summer…

Stop in to pick up a Family Fun Summer 2013 brochure for an extensive listing of affordable places to visit on Long Island with your family, put together for you by our Children’s Librarians. While perusing the brochure, relax with your child in one of our brand new bean bag chairs. Bean bag chairs can be found on both levels of the Children’s & Teen Services Department. You may even want to borrow an iPad for your preschooler!

In addition, our Summer Newsletter is bursting with great programs for children and families. You will find storytimes, dance and movement programs, craft-making, family concerts and more! Check out the Children’s Registration Date List to find out when registration begins for your preferred programs.

For the most current happenings @ CPL this summer, ‘Like’ us on Facebook or visit the Children’s Corner Blog.  We hope to see you soon!
