Vehicle Overturns After Striking Utility Pole

One person was taken to a local hospital after a crash in which a vehicle overturned on North Country Road in Mount Sinai. The crash which was reported in a 911 call at approximately 2:30 a.m. happened on North Country Road near Old Field Lane. A Suffolk County Police spokeswoman says PSEG Long Island was called to the scene due to a pole being hit in the crash.

One person was transported to a local hospital by Port Jefferson EMS with undisclosed injuries.
