3 Break Into Roslyn Estates Home: Police

One of the three pried open a window, but an alarm sounded as the trio entered the home, police say.

ROSLYN, NY — Three people broke into a Roslyn Estates home early Wednesday, Nassau police said.

The trio entered the backyard of a home on The Birches around 3:15 a.m., police said. One of the people pried open a window and entered the home, police said. The alarm was activated and the three drove away northbound on The Birches towards The Maple in a white four-door sedan, police said. The home was occupied at the time of the attempted burglary, police said.

Police do not have a description of the burglars at the time.

Detectives asked anyone with information regarding the break-in to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
