8 things to know about the dinner cabaret at Sands Point Preserve Saturday
Composer of Tony-winner 'A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder' Steve Lutvak and friends perform 'Not Quite Christmas Cabaret' at Hempstead

Broadway composer Steven Lutvak and friends return to Sands Point Preserve for the annual “Not Quite Christmas Cabaret” on Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. Here are eight things to know about the evening.
1. The show takes place in Hempstead House, a 50,000-square-foot Gold Coast mansion, magically decorated for the holidays.
2. Lutvak is bringing his Broadway friends – Catherine Porter, Jeff Kready, and Catherine Walker, who all boast stellar careers – making this a performance you won’t want to miss.
