All-State Jazz Musician From Schreiber Performs at State Capitol

The baritone saxophone player performed with the All-State Instrumental Jazz Ensemble in the Empire State Plaza.

ALBANY, NY- A Schreiber High School student-musician selected as a member of NYSSMA’s All-State Instrumental Jazz Ensemble recently performed at the state capitol in front of legislators, staff members and visitors.

Jordan Lerner, who was in Albany to perform as part of NYSSMA’s annual “Music In Our Schools Month,” received a warm welcome from Senator Jack Martins.

The baritone saxophone player performed with the All-State Instrumental Jazz Ensemble in the Empire State Plaza.

Martins met up with Lerner following the performance and congratulated him on being selected as an All-State Musician.
