Bike Lockers Available At Port Washington LIRR Station
The Town hopes these six bike lockers will encourage commuters to ride their bikes to the station.

Bike lockers are now available at the Port Washington Long Island Rail Road Station for commuters, the Town of North Hempstead announced.
The Town hopes these six bike lockers will encourage commuters to ride their bikes to the station and in turn, alleviate parking congestion.
“These six bike lockers are a great way to encourage our residents to pursue more environmentally friendly ways to commute to work, while alleviating some parking congestion,” Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth said in a press release. “It also provides a safe and secure place for a cyclist to store a bicycle while at work, knowing that their bicycle is secure and protected from the elements.”
