Country Fair Promises Fun For All Ages

Don't miss the annual Cow Neck Peninsula Historical Society Country Fair – this Saturday

It's that time of the year again – the annual country fair presented by the Cow Neck Peninsula Historical Society. The fair takes place at the historic (circa 1735) Sands-Willets House, located at 335 Port Washington Blvd, this Saturday, from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.

What can you expect at this year's fair? Fresh home baked pies and local honey for sale, food and drink, a huge book sale, basement treasures, jewelry sale, antique coins, and so much more. Musical entertainment from the Long Island Harmonica Club, the Samawamps Creek, and the PW JAM (a local folk group). Throughout the day there will be tours of the Sands-Willets house and an exhibit about the famous Dodge family of Port Washington.

There will be ongoing demonstrations of acrylic painting, fly-tying, wool-spinning, and floral card design.
