Film by Port Washington Resident to Be Featured on North Hempstead TV

"Lost and Found" premieres 7 p.m. on Monday.

A short film by Port Washington resident Guy Warren will premiere on North Hempstead TV on Monday night.

The six-minute-long film “Lost and Found” was the first place winner of the 2014 Town of North Hempstead Screenwriting contest. The film tells the story of two seniors who are going through a tough time while searching for love. “Lost and Found” takes place at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington and at the “Yes We Can” Community Center in New Cassel.

Warren will even have a cameo in the film.

“Lost and Found” will air at 7 p.m. all week on Channel 18/63 on Cablevision and Channel 46 on Verizon FIOS.

Following “Lost and Found” at 7:30 p.m., NHTV will premiere “What to do Before Buying or Selling a Home,” an instructional video that teaches residents how to buy or sell a home. Residents will learn about what type of documents they need to obtain from the Building Department before putting their house on the market, or moving into a new residence.

These two new programs will air at the same time all week.
