“Buffalo Nation: The Children Are Crying” is a critically acclaimed film written by Leslye Abbey that takes you inside the hearts and minds of the Lakota Nation. The film focuses on the devastation in which the children of the Lakota Sioux Nation are forced to live. The children are filled with despair and are committing suicide at an alarming rate. They are crying for help! Leslye Abbey is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, photographer, and Social Worker. A New York native, she has traveled the world creating films that reflect the human spirit.
