Grateful Dead Cover Band Zen Tricksters To Play Port Washington

The Zen Tricksters, a cover band for the Grateful Dead, will celebrate its 40th anniversary at the Landmark on Main Street theater.

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Grateful Dead fans listen up — longtime cover band The Zen Tricksters plans a psychedelic return to Long Island for a 40th anniversary show in Port Washington.

Jeff Mattson, Rob Barraco, Dave Diamond, Tom Circosta, Klyph Black and Jennifer Markard will reportedly reunite for a show Nov. 10 at the Landmark on Main Street theater.

Tickets went on sale Friday starting at $30.

The Zen Tricksters play both electric and acoustic formats, according to JamBase. The group performs its own songs, as well bluegrass and hillbilly jazz, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and more.
